Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Custom Gunstocks and Gunstock Adjustment & Repair Services

1. Definitions

“We”, “Us”, “Our”: Refers to Adam Bragg Gunstock Services.

“Customer”, “You”, “Your”: Refers to the individual or entity purchasing products or services from us.

“Goods”: Refers to custom gunstocks and/or forends supplied by us.

“Services”: Refers to gunstock adjustment and repair services we provide.

 

2. Orders

Orders for custom gunstocks must be confirmed in writing and accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of 30%.

All measurements and specifications must be provided accurately by the customer or via in-person fitting.

Adjustments and repairs are carried out based on information provided and subject to inspection.

 

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in GBP (£).

Full payment must be made prior to delivery or upon collection of goods/services.

We accept payment via bank transfer, debit/credit card, cash.

 

4. Lead Times and Delivery

4.1 Lead times for custom gunstocks vary and are estimated at the time of order. Delays may occur due to the bespoke nature of the work.

4.2 We will not be liable for any delay in delivery beyond our reasonable control. Delays due to material shortages or third-party suppliers are not our liability.

4.3 Delivery charges may apply and will be confirmed at the time of order. Delivery costs are additional unless otherwise agreed.

 

5. Fitting and Adjustments

5.1 We offer in-person fitting services by appointment only.

5.2 Once a gunstock has been completed and correct fit has been established, any further adjustments, modifications or embellishments due to user preference may incur additional charges.

 

6. Customer Obligations

6.1 You must ensure all information provided to us is accurate and complete.

6.2 You must notify us of any defects in the goods or services within 7 days of receipt or completion.

6.3 Any firearms provided to us for fitting or repair must be legal, correctly licensed, and delivered/collected in accordance with UK firearms law.

6.4 Evidence of a current pertinent Firearms Licence or Shotgun Certificate (as applicable) must be provided to us before any work can commence on any firearm / shotgun. This must also be provided by you prior to collecting your gun once the work has been completed.

 

7. Repairs

7.1 Repairs are assessed and quoted before work begins.

7.2 We reserve the right to refuse repairs deemed unsafe, unfeasible, or uneconomical.

 

8. Warranties and Liability

8.1 We warrant that goods and services will be provided using reasonable care and skill.

8.2 Due to the nature of wood and custom work, minor variances in grain and colour may occur and do not constitute defects.

8.3 All wood used in gunstock making and adjustments/modifications will have been thoroughly visually checked by the supplier, and by us, for any flaws. Due to the nature of wood, it is possible, on vary rare occasion, that the wood can contain internal flaws which are not visible to the naked eye on inspection and cannot be detected. We do not accept liability for any cracks or breakages in the wood that could occur during gun use, that resulted from any undetectable flaws in the wood.

8.4 Our liability is limited to the cost of goods or services supplied. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss.

 

9. Cancellation and Refunds

9.1 Custom goods are non-refundable once production has commenced.

9.2 Standard repair services may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.

9.3 Cancellation of custom gunstock orders must be made within 14 days of the agreed commencement date of work. Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable.

 

10. Risk and Title

10.1 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery or collection.

10.2 Title to goods remains with us until full payment is received.

 

11. Force Majeure

11.1 We shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation under these terms due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., fire, flood, acts of government, supplier delays).

 

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

 

13. Privacy

We handle all personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
